Location ~ The American River Inn is located in historic Georgetown California, between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, and can be accessed by the I50 or I80 through Placerville or Auburn in the heart of the Georgetown Divide.

Hours ~ As a boutique property our front desk is open from 8am to 6pm daily, calls received outside these hours will be returned the next business day.  Check-in is between 3pm and 6pm, please contact us if early or late check-in is needed.  To assure we have time to prepare for our next guests, check-out time is at 11am and we do not take new reservations after 5pm.  Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am.  Please note, we are not open to the general public for dining.

Booking Details ~ Our breakfast is included in your booking, free parking is included on a first come basis and pets stay free.  Additional fees may be incurred for excessive cleaning or damages.  Please review your booking for our cancellation policy.  Most bookings can be cancelled with 10 days notice without incurring additional fees.  While we understand that circumstances change, some bookings may be non-refundable. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and disruptive or disorderly guests may be removed without refund.
