Our Rooms
Each of our guest rooms reflect the historic charm of the inn, featuring period furnishings, colorful vintage wallpaper, claw foot tubs, pull chain toilets and beautiful hardwood flooring that captures the character of the Gold Rush era. Comfortable pillow top or feather top beds create a calm and restful retreat, with modern amenities including free high speed internet, air conditionining, fire places, and streaming televisions (ammenities vary by room). Guests may choose from a variety of accommodations including en-suite bathrooms, shared bathrooms, connecting rooms, spacious suites and family suites to suit every budget and style of travel.
The Crabtree - Room 1
The Crabtree (Room #1) features an antique style queen-size iron bed and is decorated with warm peach-toned spring themes, delicate curtains and classic antiques. Located in a bright corner of the inn with access to the front veranda on the second floor, it includes a beautifully appointed private bath with a claw foot tub and shower.
The Parkhurst ~ Room 2
The Parkhurst (Room #2) features an antique style queen-size iron bed with a large private bath (or option to book as a shared bath), complete with a clawfoot tub/shower, located on the second floor. Bathed in warm natural light and wrapped in charming vintage floral wallpaper, this room captures the quiet elegance of the inn's Gold Rush heritage.
The Brannon ~ Room 3
The Brannon (Room #3) features an antique style queen-size iron bed and shares a more modern bath (if clawfoot tubs aren't your thing) with the Wilson Room. Located on the second floor, the warm and inviting decor creates a welcome and restful retreat after a long day of exploring the divide.
The Suize ~ Room 5
The Suize (Room #5) is a large suite featuring an antique style king size bed, a daybed with trundle and a luxurious private bath appointed with a claw foot tub and pull chain toilet. Enjoy the rich floral decor and access to the upper veranda for a relaxing evening watching the divide. The Suize room is located on the second floor.
The Sutter ~ Room 8
The Sutter (Room #8) is a large queen room with a seating area and kitchenette. Located on the second floor, this room has a water closet and in room clawfoot tub. If you're traveling with family or a group, there is an option to add connecting room #10 (or #9 and #10) for an extensive family suite. Speak with Innkeeper for details. Ideal for a family or besties vacation.
Twain & Harte ~ Rooms 9-10
The Twain & Harte Rooms (Room #9-10) are connecting queen rooms that share a bath across the hall, ideal for families or those traveling together. Room #9 can be booked on its own, book #9 and 10 as a pair, or book with room 8 for a family suite. Note room 10 can only be booked as a connecting room, inquire with the innkeeper for details.
The Briones ~ Room 14
The Briones (Room #14) is a beautifully appointed suite on the third floor with a contemporary private bath, seating and dining area, desk, television and wood burning fireplace. Excellent for a romantic gettaway, or the traveller who is looking for a little more space to relax.
